Pole dance increases core and general body strength by using the body itself as resistance, while toning the body as a whole.
Pole dance combines dance and acrobatics centered on a vertical pole. This performance art is an internationally recognized form of fitness. Amateur and professional pole dancing competitions are held in countries around over the world. Pole dance requires significant muscular endurance and coordination, upper body and core strength, as well conditioning and flexibility.

The majority of new clients that join Wild Orchid haven’t had any pole experience. Therefore, all new members start with our Foundations Program. It’s designed to introduce you to our methodology, core movements, and the rhythm of our classes. After you complete the 4 week course you’ll be ready to jump into our group classes and start moving safely and beautifully!
